This organization is to help teenagers with the disease to incorporate their "old" life with their "new" life. We also want to create a safe space for teens to talk about their issue with others their age, so they know they are not alone and that others are in the same boat as them. We want teenagers to be confident about who they are and we don't want them to be held back by epilepsy in any type of way. Being a teen nowadays is hard so this is to help kids primarily aged from 13-19 to have a regular teenage life with epilepsy.
We offer a variety of programs to help teenagers and parents handle this situation. These programs are for everyone they can be for kids who are newly diagnosed, people who just want to talk about the situation, and for parents who do not know what to do. For some examples on what we do to help we do online zoom calls, over the phone calls, individual messaging and more.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
